How to make a theater for puppets

A fantastic idea is to spend the day making a puppet theater or finding out how to make a stage for puppets.
We will waste creativity in a house occupation. that can be enjoyed by the smallest to the oldest and that can be used over and over again, with a thousand and one stories to tell.

You can make a puppet theater at home with some basic materials, they are the following:
- Large cardboard box

We can buy the box at any store or supermarket or order it at a commercial establishment in our neighborhood. Once we have all the materials in our possession, we can begin the day's adventure:make a puppet theater for children.
We left three of the folds of the box. Cutting one with scissors. Two of them will serve as the walls and the middle will serve as the stage floor. With the pencil and the ruler we help ourselves to mark three centimeters on the side flaps, from the inside out. We cut out the rest.
On the sheet of paper we draw, as a pattern, the shape that we would like the upper area of our puppet theater to have. With the pencil, we mark the drawn shape behind the flap and cut out. From the base of the box we will cut out a part in the back area, which is where the hands with the puppets will later enter.
Now comes the colorful part of the whole process. We choose the base color we want for our little theater, we paint it and wait for it to dry. It's the perfect time to stop and have a snack.
When we're done with the sandwiches and juices, we return to paint the interior of the theater. It may or may not be the same tone as the exterior. Whether the top flap matches in color, or not. That is left to free choice. We can color the edges of the entire front part with gold or yellow. We can even draw something on paper, color it and then stick it on the theater cardboard.
And the curtains? Of course, curtains can never be missing in a theater. The length of the curtains will be the distance between the base and the floor of the theater, ignoring the height of the top flap. A few extra centimeters should be cut from the red fabric to cover the staples. Our curtains will not move, they will be immobile, so we do not need to cut too much fabric. When we have them, we will place them in a straight line and staple them two centimeters apart from the top. The remaining piece will be soaked in glue and will stick inwards, covering the staples. In addition, we will add a piece of fabric to the upper area of the box, but inside, which we will glue with glue.

When it comes to making clothes for our creations, some people get desperate. But if we have already been able to makea cloth puppet for children, how can we be scared about sewing a t-shirt? I'm sure it won't turn out perfect, but it will turn out well.
The final part is approaching. We take two wooden sticks and cross them with glue. We can also tie them for added security. We put the threads through the holes we made at the beginning in the joints of the limbs and attach them to the stick.

As we do with anychildren's craft workshop, we draw a circle on the cardboard and cut it out. We will glue it folded in half with glue to the tip of the sock, which we will turn over previously.
