It all started with Walt Disney

And yes, You may think that it does not have much relationship with aechildren's animation company, but Walt Disney, whether we like it or not, is and will continue to be the | ||169pionero mundial de la animación and its derivatives, such as children's animation; Or do you just not want to have Mickey Mouse at your child's children's party? You know you do 😉

 

In this post today, I want to pay a small tribute to that man who We all know him from the creation of the Disney brand, this man who made something unthinkable a reality: continuing to give children hope after so long.

Without a doubt a reference for us, who are dedicated to animations for children and we continue to use their characters to liven up parties of all kinds.

 

It all started by reading a book by Eadweard Muybridge

 

Para los que no lo sepais, Disney was inspired by reading a book by Eadweard Muybridge in which a study on movement was carried out (Source:UPV). And you will ask me, who is he? Very simply, Eadweard Muybridge was a photographer and researcher,Muybridge invented a manual shutter to obtain high quality photographs for the time, since it achieved a short exposure time to the light. From here he took a series of 12 photographs in approximately half a second, so he achieved the effect of movement. These studies were published in the Scientific American magazine in 1878.

 

 

 

Subsequently, Muybridge continued his scientific studies related to movement and created the phenakistiscope in 1983. Here we can see the movements he achieved:

 

 

 

All this accumulation of scientific information is the one that detonated the brutal creativity emanating from the head of Disney. He was also a precursor of the entertainment industry thanks to the creation of Mickey Mouse, Cinderella, Puss in Boots and Donald Duck, among many others. Throughout his career he has obtained 59 Oscar nominations and 26 statuettes. Really impressive. 

 

 

 

Later, more recently, Disney Theme Parks have been built in Orlando, Paris, Japan and even 15 more parks. Today Disney is a company that has a turnover of 36,000 million euros annually (Source: Forbes).

If we start to look at these figures, we may lose the perception of what this brand means for us and for our children. .
